You're Pure Gold, Baby!

This is the last Sunday in Pet Society and for the final theme I decided Mintsy needed to be decked out in pure gold extravagance. So I brought a little new, a little old, and some very old things together...

Woooow it is so pretty and golden...
What do I get to wear!? Huh? The pretty gold gown!??
The golden gown would be lovely!
Oh yes, it's really lovely!
Now that you're looking cute and made of gold... let's call in some friends!

All of my friends are here!!! How neat!!!! Hey guys, check out my trophies!
And Blossom! Tee hee
Look cute everyone! I'm gonna take a video!

You know what... I want my Viola dress instead!
Oh Mintsy, do I always have to change you 5 times before you're happy? lol Ok. Here ya go.

OK now I am ready for more friends!

Hey guys! Don't you feel like pure gold in here? I do! Tee hee

Grape's Conquest.

Hi, I'm Mintsy's friend Grape!

You may not know this, but last year I was well on my way towards completing my silver Rooster Booster trophy at the Stadium.

Until I had a terrible accident during my last race.  I haven't returned to the Stadium since.

My owner, Mrs. Gumdrops keeps telling me that quitters never win and that I should go to the Stadium and race again.

So early this morning, I got up, took a bath, got dressed, and then headed to the Stadium.

When I arrived, I signed up to race right away.  I didn't want to lose my nerve.

When my name was announced, I confidently stepped up to the start line and waited for my neighbor Cherry to start the race by waving the checkered flag.

When Cherry waved the flag, my opponents took off.  But, I didn't move.  I couldn't move.  I was paralyzed with fear.  All I could think about was falling and hurting myself again.

I felt defeated.  And ashamed.  All of my lovely neighbors had witnessed my failure.  I felt humiliated.  I felt like a loser.

On my way home, I decided to stop at The Mayor's house.  I thought that he might have some words of wisdom to offer.  Surely, he had failed at something due to fear.  Maybe he had some helpful advice to offer me.

He didn't.  Instead, he offered me tea and cake.  And told me that after we were done with our snack, he would race with me at the Stadium.

Once again, I signed up to race.

This time I was accompanied by The Mayor, and my brother Blueberry.

Blueberry had heard about what happened earlier today, and came out to support me.

When the flag was waved, my brother grabbed my hand and we ran together.

As I neared the finish line, I could hear my brother cheering me on.  And I realized that he was no longer holding my hand.  I was racing.  On my own.  And I wasn't afraid.  I couldn't help but feel proud.

Mirror Mirror on the... wait a minute...

This is an ongoing story... please read the other parts first.
Recap & links here

It is good to be home! Mintsy's place was too clean and too bright!
And her cooking is awful!
Wait... Didn't I have a mirror there...
Seriously... who would steal my mirrors?
HAH. They missed the one in my hidden secret room.
Dunno why anyone would want my dirty mirrors anyway
My ears! My color!!!! My face!!!!
I knew those cookies tasted funny!

Playfish has gone to the dogs

Hi, I'm Mintsy's friend Blossom!

And I'm her owner and will try to keep her in line.

I am a cat. I am not very fond of dogs. But I'm pretty sure Playfish's programmers are dogs. Why? The Mayor is a dog, so obviously the programmers are biased toward dogs.

Also, dogs are colorblind. Look at this.

So I picked up a "Yellow Rose" digging.

Wait. This is not right.
Mayor, can you please fix this?

I do not understand the purpose of your sentence fragment, Mayor.
Okay, I'll buy a Rudolf Plushie (maybe). Can you please make the Yellow Rose yellow? Or call it a Pink Rose?

Um...?
I don't know the last time I've seen you in a wig. And I'm starting to doubt you know the definition of the word "color."
"BLOSSOM! Be nice."
Why should I be nice?

So wait. The Mayor has a disability?
All right, fine. I'm sorry, Mayor.

HUUUUGS. (but only because it's Christmas.)

And now I'm going to go change out of this purple and orange outfit and into something more Christmasy!

"Blossom? Hm. I guess cats have trouble distinguishing colors, too."

Turkey Trot Revisited - Guest Adventure with Blossom

OK, Mintsy's Turkey Trot was pretty disturbing. But at least Mintsy wasn't carrying a fork and knife.

BLOSSOM!

This is Mintsy's friend Blossom, everyone. Though Mintsy's not blameless. You can see her cheering her friend on as a turkey falls to its doom.

Translation: Since you did not feed me gingerbread, you left me with few options.

Point taken, Blossom.
