Mintsy... I have some... bad news.

But I've come to a decision... I'm no longer going to pursue getting your ears fixed.

No!? Why? I hate pink inner ears!

Because... we may not have much time left in our Pet Society house...

But these ears are ugly.

And the time that we do have... well I don't want to waste the energy lamenting over your changed ears. I want to put it towards more stories, more fun, etc etc.

In essence, more time for fun things and not worrying about stuff we can't change!

Well, stories and more fun things sound pretty cool.

Yes, Mintsy, they do! ::squishes:: I just want to enjoy the you I still have. Pink or green inner ears, you're still you. And you're still cute.

They just can't be bothered

Tonight I completed the Color Splash body kit and to my amazement, the inner ears at the Stylist show orange as default for that green color on this kit. Never mind that the advertisement shows green.

Now I know you can pretty much choose any inner ear color you want for the newer colors. You click on an old color with the inner ear color you want then click on any of the new colors.

But this doesn't work for the old original colors. Your options are limited to pink for the most part.

So if they can't even be bothered to fix different inner ear colors for with new colors I don't know if I have much hope of getting Mintsy restored. I'm just really angered they couldn't take the time to come up with new inner ear colors for these new colors.

I am desperate to get Playfish's attention! I need Mintsy's original ears back!

So I've come up with an item they could put in game to make this happen!

Maybe if they can make money off of their mess they'll fix it :P

A while back I noticed Mintsy's inner ear color randomly changed. Since then, I've been trying to get her ear color back to the dark green it's been for FOUR YEARS.

It was brought to my attention that some people could get the dark green inner ear color on the lime green body color. But it just wouldn't save.

They did this by clicking on the green body color:

Then clicking on the lime green body color:

The dark green inner ear color would stay. But for me, this doesn't work. As you can see, Mintsy's inner ears never change.

Funny thing is though if I click on the green body color and click on any of the rainbow or cyber colors the dark green inner ear color will not change:

Note the orange inner ear color there in the display thing on the bottom. It's the color it should be. And I can get that color if I click it.

However, clicking back to the lime green brings the pink back again.

So if you could visit the stylist and tell me what you see and maybe if you have any of the body kits or make up kits that would be very helpful. Also, if you encounter any glitches at the stylist PLEASE send in a support ticket.

Inner Ear Dilemma

Recently, Playfish decided to change the color of the inner ears on some of the pet color choices. Or maybe it only happened to the lime green color... I'm not sure. 

Since November 9, 2008 ... Mintsy has been lime green with the exact same features as seen on the left side of the picture below.

The picture on the right is what she looks like today. And I'm heartbroken. The pink inner ear color makes her different. A change I didn't OK. In fact, I'm pretty sure I need to change her name from Mintsy to Mintpinksy. :/

I emailed support but they've pretty much said "oh well, wee can't do anything about it but feel free to post feedback in the forum". So I am. Even though I feel like it will do no good.

It might not seem like a big deal but it is to me seeing that Mintsy has looked the same way since they day I created her.
