Mintsy Monday: St. Patrick's Day Rewind

A quick look at the old St. Patrick's Day items...

I love this dress!

We realized we didn't have pictures of the old St. Patrick's Day clothes so we had to get some snapshots!

We've always liked the pretty Emerald furniture! And suddenly we're very nostalgic for the old, clean, designs...

St. Patick's Day and a Birthday Party!

This has been a fun and exciting week for Mintsy and me!

First, we got our green on.

Tee hee. This week is all about ME! It's all MINT!

I had to remind her that her name is not St. Patrick and that she isn't even close to being a saint..

HA HA HA

Then we had to green up our room. We used old items... but we really did love the new coin dress this week.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! Look! We let the petlings out to play :)

Then... Mintsy surprised me with a wonderful celebration!

We got a lot of cool stuff :D

And then I was told a lot of wonderful people showed up for the main event that Mintsy put together for me!

I loved it so much!!!  :D

It's the one thing that draws me to games like (fluff)Friends and Pet Society... it's the wonderful people you meet along the way and the friendships that emerge.

Thank you guys! :D It's always great celebrating any and all occasions with you!

Valentines is here again...

Well Valentines has come and gone once again! I took Mintsy shopping... I must admit I was very afraid and nearly skipped this week all together... but she was excited to leave the de-colored week behind.

Yay! I hope it's Ant-Vday for once!

I told her not to hold her breath... lol

Wait, what? Pay for one dress and its recolored copy for a heart???

::chuckles:: Yeah ... sorry Mr. Mayor but a floating heart doesn't entice me at all! lol

Mintsy was not impressed either!

However....

WOW! I think I am dreaming! THAT WIG!!!

Mintsy and I were shocked a new coin wig was in stores! And one so pretty!

I tried to talk her out of going to the furniture store... but Mintsy insisted there had to be different stuff than the pink table and bathtub she was crafting. I tried to warn her...

Noooo it's all pink and red? All of it? Nooo it can't be!

And before I could stop her... she rushed off to check the market...

Seriously? Why can't we have a non-typical Vday for once?!

I felt her pain. Never mind that the wine and bucket is reminiscent of a past CC item...

We've had so many themes with pinks and reds and hearts... IF they had done a non-typical Valentines theme, someone who wanted a more traditional Valentines that you expect every year could have done it easily!

Besides, I've never played a game that has had an Anti-Valentines theme... would be nice to have the unexpected! Or they could have mixed both together!

Then I thought... well we've had plenty of dark themes too. Maybe I'll just mix and match myself!

P.S. if anyone has another dark Christmas rug... I am willing to trade..

Spent a lot of coins... lol

But I really like my gothic valentines :)

And lets not forget the wonderful gift your friend Luna gave you for Valentines! Such a pretty outfit!!!

On the day after Christmas PF gave to me...

On Dasher! On Dancer! On... wait I'm missing reindeer!

Aw but they're so cute! With that cuteness.... I'm sure they're super fast.

And they have lighted horns! Rudolph is so last century!

Guess so Mintsy! Besides, I don't think 8 reindeer would fit in a room...

Well, I am so ready for Christmas! Ho! Ho-- what?

Christmas came and went Mintsy...

But I just got my sleigh!!!

Heh. Wait until she finds out New Years will come and go long before she gets her New Years crafting items. ;)

Yeah... no kidding. I love that you only dug up one item with those 9 shovels we saved up...

I'm doing the best I can... will I even get the crafting stuff?

No wonder Playfish is failing. It's run by morons.

Or very smart people... they know people will pay to get those items on time.

Christmas blues

I thought you said these were ornaments! Why are they BEHIND my tree?

That's how they were labeled.... Christmas ornaments... honestly Mintsy they are spiders. I'm kinda happy they are BEHIND the tree.

... no, I'm not buying more bombs.

... Mintsy if I had a magic wand to fix PS layering issues I'd already be using it and your house would be AMAZING!

Turkey Trot Revisited - Guest Adventure with Blossom

OK, Mintsy's Turkey Trot was pretty disturbing. But at least Mintsy wasn't carrying a fork and knife.

This is Mintsy's friend Blossom, everyone. Though Mintsy's not blameless. You can see her cheering her friend on as a turkey falls to its doom.

Translation: Since you did not feed me gingerbread, you left me with few options.

Aaaaaw my two favorite pixels having so much fun together! Don't get too attached to (fluff)Land Mintsy... I know things look bleak in Pet Society but I'm not ready for you to go to pixel heaven too!

A little back story here:

The butterfly and the background/decos here are from an old Facebook app that died on September 29th, 2011. Ruby was my beloved little pixel pet. And the land she is in, fluff, has long since died. But the people we met and the stories we created live on. 

Ruby LOVED Halloween. Trick or Treating in (fluff)Land was the best.
